Origine - Natural Dressing, Oils and Vinegars from France:

Origine

www.origine.us

The Los Angeles basd gourmet food company BrandStorm,Inc, has recently launched a new line of delicous and authentic dressing, oils and vinegars. Reviving the essence of salad dressing, ORIGINE products are based upon Traditional French rrecipes with natural and top-quality ingredients and are packaged in marvelous, traditional "swing top" bottles.

These recipes have their roots in a small village in Alsace, where to celebrate the centuries long tradtion of salad dressings, they established an annual "Handmade Dressing Award" back in the beginning of the 19th century. Everyone submitted a recipe. This ORIGINE collection is taken from the best of these winning recipes and packaged in the same resealable beer bottles used for the traditional drink of the region - beer!

In addition to using absolutely natural products, they are also free from GMO (genetically modified) ingredients. Their website (www.origine.us) provides loads of recipes for using all their products. While the site does not provide "where to buy" their line of goods, just call and they will be happy to help you.

Moulin Jean-Marie Cornille French Olive Oil:

Moulin Jean-Marie Cornille
Il Rosmarino

http://www.moulin-cornille.com/

This is some of the most interesting tasting olive oil we have tasted in a long time. Tastedby itself, it is one of the few that actually tastes of olives!

M. , owner and chef de cuisine of Ousteau de la Baumaniere took us to this old moulin in the valley just below Les Beaux-en-Provence that uses the old style round wheel type grinding stones but uses four at a time. Everything else is ultra modern, all stainless steel and pristine.

We were pleased to discover that the manufacturer of these, some of our favorite soaps, oils, creams, shaving products etc. made from the purest of ingrediants with no artifical anything, was located just half an hour from our house in Provence in Manosque, in Haute-Provence. Even more delightful was to find their web site which is designed so that each country in which they sell has its own version of the site in its native language with on line ordering available in your own currency shipping from warehouses in your own country.

Of course if you drop by their factory store in Manosque right off the autoroute, you can find some great deals and test the various products. But on the site you can also find a list of retail stores in your area where you can do the same.
