The Los Angeles Hilton Aiport Hotel is just a few minutes from the terminals, from the San Diego Freeway and not so far from the beach and has been configured to be very doggie friendly - you don't have to leave the hotel to deal with Fido's business! It is the perfect travelers' hotel equipped with 24/7 food services, fitness center and swimming pool with 4 whirlpool spas, equipped with WiFi and high speed internet access as well as a business center open 4/7 not to mention 24 hour complimentary shuttle service to the terminals. It is also one of the larges Hiltons with more than 1,200 guest rooms. This means it is able to meet the needs of individuals, families, business travelers, and groups of all sizes. They even offer babysitting service.
As there is a Hilton Hotel at a great many airports world wide, it really comes down to the efficiency and well trained staff of personael and attrativeness of the lobby and business floor rooms and suites. We cannot speak here of the regular rooms. Like the French Hilton Hotel Roissy, at Charles de Gaulle Airport, the LAX Hilton has a pleasant, spacious lobby with 3 eateries off of it. The rooms and suites areattractive and fresh although the decoration is a bit bland unlike the Roissy Hilton.
The added bonus for us at this dog friendly hotel, was the additiona of a third floor garden where dogs were welcome and provided the necessary requisite disposal facilities. They have thoughtfully provided a private inner courtyard with large raised planters filled with trees, bushes, ground cover and gravel that is not only pleasing as an environment but perfect for our canine family members. For those of us traveling with our pets, this provides the added bonus of not having to leave the hotel for your pet's walks and be forced to walk on the very busy and not very pleasant Century Boulevard on which this hotel is situated.

View from the street. This hotel has no grounds of any use outside but has more than made up for that with very nice, private inner gardens, which considering the location, are even better.

Ranged around the lobby which is several stories high and open, are displayed the 3 eateries and the spacious and comfortable bar area. The food is neither fabulous nor dismal, but offers well prepared Hilton fare with something for everyone.
Just inside the entrance and alongside the bar is The Bistro Restaurant offers casual anytime dining. The Bistro features "to go" dinners, and is perfect for a quick snack- night or day. Light meals, sandwiches, salads and pizzas. They also stock yogurt, fruit, beverages, bottled water etc. not to mention promoting their use of Starbuck's Coffee, if you consider that a plus. Seating area features four large screen TV's with international programming. Open 24 hours a day.
The Café on the other side of the lobby is also casual and offers buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as an ala carte menu. Features a Japanese breakfast and a wide assortment of international cuisine.
For more upscale diining, the Andiamo Restaurant, right next to The Café serves northern Italian cuisine but is only open for dinner.
Then, of course, you can order from Room Service whose menu is taken from Andiamo and The Bistro restaurants. Room Service is available 24 hrs a day and Kosher food is available.
