Welcome to West Los Angeles to the Coast, California, USA.

This section covers from the San Diego freeway to the coast including Brentwood, Santa Monica, Venice plus along the coast to Malibu.
It is obvious that we are thin, to put it mildly, on restaurants in LA. This is mainly because LA is not very dog friendly and it is hot, so leaving Doogie in the car is not an option. But we are working to correct this. Meanwhile, the Google ad links to the right may help you find a restaurant of your choice as well as the Google Search below.

Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel****, Los Angeles, CA, USA.
One of Hilton's largest hotels with more than 1,200 guest rooms and suites plus all the 24/7 facilities for the touring or business traveler from business center, fitness gym, pool and spas, business suites and seminar rooms, WiFi and high speed internet access in all rooms, to your choice of 3 restaurants, 2 of these are 24/7. Excellent for dogs, very friendly with their own inner courtyard garden with raised planters. Free shuttle to the terminals just 1/4 mile away 24/7. Foo usual Hitlon faire, not great but not bad either.
Altogether a very good place to depart from or arrive to and anytime of day or night.

The Custom Hotel***, Los Angeles, CA, USA.
A modestly priced stylish hotel with an interior filled with modern whimsy and a sense of fun. Doggie friendly, the bed spreads even sport dog portraits.
Comfort takes a back seat to style. But the rooms are adequately sized, the lounge has modern graphic seating and a flock of sheep around the bar.
It is close to the airport and has a shuttle, however, if you are traveling outside standard business hours expect to pay for limousine service. It is also not far from the beach towns of Santa Monica, Venice, Marina del Rey and Manhattan Beach so offers a gateway to the western end of Los Angeles..
