A great place for a light, complete meal or snack, new in 2010 there is "Le Petit Belrose" - the poolside bistro brings an addition to the offerings from the kitchens of Thierry Thiercelin, the executive chef at Villa Belrose.
It is open to the general public, so anyone in the know can enjoy a break from traffic along the coast road or for those who just want to have a really good, light summer meal away from downtown St. Tropez and enjoy one of the best views out over the bay of St. Tropez by the pool, prepared by the same Michelin starred chef that is behind the main Belrose restaurant even if you are not staying at this lovely hotel.
There is a menu of snacks or the listing of dishes from the Petit Belrose menu. These range from starters like the Tomato Mozzarella above to a light green salad, antipastis, melon or melon with Serrano ham, a US style Ceasar salad, traditional Niçoise salad to pastas and sandwiches. There are fish dishes, meat dishes from the Chicken-Saté above to a hamburger Texas style, beef-tartar with French fries or grilled entrecote steak. There are a range of desserts that include a dish of various red berries, ice creams and sorbets, chocolate cake with hot, liquid chocolate insides, creme brulée and more.
These can be purchased à la carte or as specially priced menus such as starter and main course for 35€, main course and dessert 29€ or the full 3 course meal 42€.
So give yourself not just a culinary treat but a whole delightful experience. Who knows? You may just fall in love with the place yourselves.
