Added in the great remodel of the mid 1990's, this is the entrance that faces
the pine tree shaded gardens surrounding the Citadel on the other side
of the street. The hotel extends from this point down the hill towards
the main market "place" called Place Carnot which is ringed with
cafés, restaurants and shops of all types from the latest
fashion to ancient antiques.
