Our favorite hotel at the Charles de Gaulle airport at Roissy, north of Paris, is the "Hilton Hotel". This light and spacious building is an oasis of calm and elegance and a perfect place to unwind after a long and tiring trip. The rooms are very well equipped and the business facilities are excellent.
An indoor pool and fitness center help the weary traveler to stretch and recover from the rigors of travel.
With delayed flights, crazy hours, pressing masses and all the indignities of today's air travel, it is sheer heaven to enter the modern portals of this hotel and settle into a very comfortable room with perfect beds, well appointed bathrooms with large, fluffy towels AND they welcome pets! Just across the street are acres of grass with the occasional light pole.

For the famished, there is both a buffer and à la carte restaurant, "Les Aviateurs", as well as a formal dining room "Le Gourmet" and for fish and seafood lovers there is the "Oyster Bar" . The buffet is always fresh with a wide variety of choices at breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also the "Oyster Bar" which is lively and fun.
All the rooms are very comfortable and attractively appointed. The "Executive Rooms" are even more spacious and well equipped and come with membership to the private club lounge with complimentary continental breakfast, snacks and beverages throughout the day. The "Suites" are all on the 8th floor with a panoramic view of the airport and also have the "Executive Lounge" membership like the Hilton at LAX.
All the rooms are soundproof and are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, individual temperature control, direct dial telephones, minibar, satellite and pay TV. The bathrooms are equipped with a separate shower stall, heated mirror and hair dryer. The "Executive Rooms" have both a long bath tub to soak away aching muscles as well as the separate shower stall.

If traveling by car, there is an underground car park with space for 100 vehicles guarded 24/7. If traveling with children, Euro Disneyland has a bus leaving from the airport just 5 minutes away from the bus terminal just around the corner. The Metro station is also just around the corner both providing excellent travel to and from Paris. The shuttle (vedette) leaves every 20 minutes to get you to or from the terminals within a 20 minute ride. The TGV rapid train station is 5 minutes away at the terminals with our shuttle service.
The various lounges are quiet and comfortable. Most of the other airport hotels have limited meal serving time. The Hilton recognizes that airlines don't keep to banker's hours and offer food almost around the clock. Room service is, of course, available 24 hours a day.
The Fitness Center is a great place to get the kinks out of your muscles with indoor-swimming pool, sauna, steam-bath and fully equipped fitness room (including indoor bikes).

All this contributes to making this light and airy hotel an unexpected pleasure with or without kids and pets. (Note: There is no charge for children 18 and under when they occupy the same room as their parent or grandparent. However, there is a pet charge.)
